Clover Kids First Meeting

Clover Kids mix learning and fun

Noah Morris shows his puppy dressed in her tutu. He attends school in Tool. Below, Laura Childress, the 4-H Clover Kids teen leader, helps Annabelle Heppner learn to say the 4-H Motto and Pledge while also doing the hula hoop. They all enjoyed this portion and had to take several times to get the hula hoop to stay up and try to learn to learn the motto and pledge. Laura is from Eustace and is a member of the Cedar Creek Home School Club. Noah shows his puppy dressed in her tutu. Below, Laura , the 4-H Clover Kids teen leader, helps Annabelle learn to say the 4-H Motto and Pledge while also doing the hula hoop. They all enjoyed this portion and had to take several times to get the hula hoop to stay up and try to learn to learn the motto and pledge.  The Henderson County 4-H Clover Kids met and had an interesting time with show and tell and learning the 4- H Motto and Pledge. 4-H Clover Kids also had the pleasure of having the new 4-H AgriLife Extension Agent join in the meeting.
Jackie Cole told them that she is from Cushing and attended TVCC and was on the show team and just graduated from Tarleton State University. She also has been an intern for the AgriLife Extension Office during the summer. Jackie has some great ideas and plans to help our 4-H program off to a new year. So if you see her, take the time and introduce yourself to Jackie Cole, our new 4- H Agent.
Show and Tell was really interesting from skulls, to little brothers and toys, to rabbits, insects and little dogs with a tutu skirt.
The 4-H Clover Kids Program is for ages 5-8 years of age. It is an introductory program into the 4-H program. They cannot compete like the older 4-H kids but do take part for the learning experience in the county 4-H program only. Clover Kids have rules to follow just like the older 4-H kids follow.
There is no charge to join 4-H Clover Kids and if you are interested in being a part of this program contact the AgriLife Extension Office at 903-675- 6130.

Henderson County 4-H Clover Kids Group, left to right, are Harrison Heppner, Noah Morris, Andrew Childress, Annabelle Heppner, Anna Cole, Eli Cole and Jackie Cole, not related to the kids, our new AgriLife 4-H Extension Agent.
